LOGANTON – Albright United Methodist Church, 47 E. Main St., will hold a family style dinner from 4-6:30 p.m. featuring baked steak. Cost is $8.50 for adults. Takeouts will be available.


Praise team to be featured

HUGHESVILLE – The Hughesville Methodist Charge Praise Team will be featured in a joint service at 10 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 148 So. Main St.


Defrocked UMC pastor to speak at Bucknell

LEWISBURG – Frank Schaefer, of Lebanon, a former United Methodist pastor who lost his clergy credentials after performing a same-gender wedding ceremony for his son, will discuss his experience at 7:30 p.m. in Rooke Chapel at Bucknell University. The talk, “A Father’s Love: Rev. Frank Schaefer, the United Methodist Church, and an Impossible Choice,” is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Office of Chaplains and Religious Life at Bucknell.

1st Tuesday dinner

Farragut Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, along Route 864 near the intersection with Route 87, will hold its monthly First Tuesday Dinner from 5:30-7 p.m. Free-will donations accepted.

Puppet dinner theater

MILTON – The Kingdom Kidz Inc. will offer a puppet dinner theater at First Baptist Church, 319 Golf Course Road, at 12:30 p.m. A full course meal featuring scalloped turkey will be prepared by Jim Hilner, of The Checkered Flag Restaurant, in the fellowship hall of the church. At 1:30 p.m., the puppet team will give its Valentine presentation.
